Giannis is playing lights out, leading the Bucks in nearly every major statistic, including assists per game. But with Khris Middleton out for a few weeks with a thigh injury, the Bucks will have to replace his offensive production somewhere in the line-up, if not all on Giannis. If the Bucks can keep their winning ways despite Middleton's absence, then there's no reason to believe that Giannis won't be in the MVP conversation once again.

The Bucks are 4-0 in the preseason so far, with their finale set for Thursday night against the neighboring Timberwolves. Giannis has only played two of the first four preseason games, missing the last game due to illness. In his absence, Khris Middleton scored 22 while Ilyasova chipped in 18 in the winning effort.
