A Q&A with Nate Parham of SB Nation’s Warriors site Golden State of Mind.
What needs to happen for this to be an enjoyable season for Warriors fans?
While back-to-back championships would be both a short-term goal and a milestone for the franchise, you'd really have to hate basketball not to enjoy this team as a longtime Warriors fan. This is without a doubt one of the most talented rosters ever assembled, and that alone makes watching this team breathtaking.

What makes Warriors fans most excited about this year? What makes Warriors fans most nervous?
Pretty easy to see what makes us most nervous: being a dominant contender is automatically somewhat precarious because there's a long fall (see: Idiotic 3-1 jokes). But what makes this particular team exciting this year is they have a chance to go from budding dynasty to a dynasty on the cusp of a three-peat and one win away from four straight.

What storyline might a national audience be missing about the Warriors?
The Warriors currently have two more second-round picks that could have the opportunity to develop into real NBA contributors in a few years: Jordan Bell and Patrick McCaw. Golden State of Mind has spent a year serving as McCaw's personal Hall of Fame PR team, but Jordan Bell's skillset and versatility might make him even more exciting to watch down the road.
Why should neutrals pay attention to the Warriors this year?
It's hard to imagine anyone being neutral about the Warriors at this point: outside of locals and fans of direct rivals, you're either sick of seeing them win or you're an admirer of their style of play.
To the latter point, though: If you're still neutral, there's no reason not to admire a group of individuals this talented play so well as a team.
What's your prediction for the season?
70-12, No. 1 seed overall, and Stephen Curry finally getting a NBA Finals MVP.
