Why we’re going all the way David Johnson. The Cardinals got so much out of Johnson in 2016, but this season the offensive line should be healthy and Carson Palmer should be able to keep defenses honest. Add in the fact that the Cardinals’ defense is younger and faster than last season and if it jells quickly enough, it will give the Cardinals a ball-control offense with a defense able to create turnovers in bunches. All of that is a recipe for a great season.
The season is hopeless if [THIS] happens First, let’s just hope everyone stays healthy. But if the young defense can’t get together and start making plays early, it will be in for a long season. Asking Palmer to carry a team for a full 16 games will be entertaining, maddening and in the end, not a winning strategy.
Who is your biggest rival and why? While the Seattle Seahawks are the biggest in-game rival and the fight has been fierce since Bruce Arians took over as head coach, the real rival for the Cardinals right now is Father Time. How much longer can Carson Palmer hold up? What does Larry Fitzgerald have left in the tank? How much time on the sidelines coaching does Arians have left?
Tailgate food that best describes your team? Wings. When they're good, they're great and can carry a meal. When they're bad, they're still wings.
What does your team do better than anyone else? The Cardinals always seem to have one All-Pro type of player for fans to take pride in. It was Aeneas Williams early, they had a brief moment with Kurt Warner, and now they have been blessed with Larry Fitzgerald. Despite all of the Cardinals’ ups and downs over there, there has always been a constant, great player.
