Projected starting XI

Kasper Schmeichel; Christian Fuchs, Harry Maguire, Wes Morgan, Danny Simpson; Demarai Gray, Wilfred Ndidi, Danny Drinkwater, Riyad Mahrez (or Marc Albrighton, if he leaves); Kelechi Iheanacho, Jamie Vardy

How do you feel about your club's summer transfer business?

Leicester have made some solid moves this summer. They've strengthened the center back spots with the addition of an up-and-coming young English defender in Harry Maguire. They've added to the midfield with Vicente Iborra, added a reliable backup goalkeeper. Signing Kelechi Iheanacho most recently is a very exciting signing that the club's supporters seem very pleased with. It'll be interesting though who exits the club. We've long thought Riyad Mahrez would depart ... but what about Demarai Gray? He'd be a huge loss in my eyes. Same with Danny Drinkwater, who is subject to interest from Chelsea. Will be a very telling final month.

Are you happy with ownership? Elated? Cautiously optimistic? Furious?

Cannot beat Leicester's ownership if you ask me. They are fantastic to the supporters: honest, open, and they pump money into the club. With plans to expand the King Power Stadium on the horizon and money continually being invested to buy top class talent, the Foxes are in good hands.

What's the highest reasonable goal your team has and what needs to go right to get there?

Winning the Premier League ... right? Where does Leicester go from here? Seems a bit of a funny place to be in as normally you'd be shooting for a Europa League spot or above mid-table ... but having won (yes, still can't believe it) the Premier League two seasons again throws off all expectations for the foreseeable future.

What are you scared of that might derail your season?

If the boost from Craig Shakespeare's appointment wears off and the team, which has endured a very subpar preseason, isn't able to click the way they did the second half of last year and we're dragged back into a relegation scrap. Not what we want to see, but it's possible. Also, the lack of a creative force with Mahrez's proposed departure could really hurt the production up front.

Who will be your team's MVP this season, and why?

If he stays, I really think it could be Gray. He has been outstanding and a full year of regular minutes with Leicester really could set him up for a big move next summer. It's a shame because he's exactly the type of talent you'd like to build around, but he doesn't seem long for the club.
