Bayern Munich go into Saturday's Bundesliga clash with Borussia Dortmund a full four points clear at the top of the table, thanks to Dortmund's loss to Wolfsburg last time out. Without a loss yet this season, and on a four-match winning streak, most would've thought the visitors would be the favorites.
But now, they'll have to visit the Westfalenstadion without Franck Ribéry. The Frenchman sustained a fracture to his ribs during Tuesday's victorious match against Ukraine and will have to watch from the stands, or his sofa. Bayern are also without Xherdan Shaqiri, also injured, who likely would've replaced Ribéry. The injury may cause a shuffle from Pep Guardiola, who's also missing Bastian Schweinsteiger and could be without Arjen Robben. Toni Kroos or Thomas Müller could step in, while Mario Götze could also play out wide.
Considering Bayern's injury list, and Dortmund's desire to get back on track after last week's surprise loss, the odds just may have turned in favor of Jürgen Klopp's men.
