Joseph Young had 18 points, leading the No. 13 Oregon Ducks to a 91-63 win over the UC-Irvine Anteaters on Tuesday night.
Dominic Artis and Ben Carter each played for the first time this season for the Ducks. Both served nine-game suspensions for selling team-issued Nikes. Artis, who was Oregon's expected starting point guard coming into the season, came off the bench and had five points, nine rebounds and three assists. Carter, a forward, had four points and four boards off the bench as well.
Oregon (10-0) forced the Anteaters into 21 turnovers, 15 of which came on steals. The Ducks finished shooting 47.8 percent from the field and 12-of-19 from three-point range.
Oregon will take its 10-0 record into Saturday's home game against the BYU Cougars. The Cougars, according to KenPom.com's team ratings, will be the second-best team Oregon has faced this season at No. 49. The top team on that list was No. 26 Georgetown, which Oregon topped 82-75 in the season opener on a U.S. Army base in South Korea.
