The No. 1 Indiana Hoosiers and No. 9 Temple Owls will square off in the third round of the 2013 NCAA Tournament on Sunday with a ticket to the Sweet 16 on the line.

For more on this game, head over to The Crimson Quarry.

Indiana ran away from James Madison in the first half on their way to an 83-62 victory. Yogi Ferrell scored 14 of the Hoosiers' first 16 points and finished with 16 overall, leading five Indiana players who scored in double-digits. The Hoosiers shot 52.7 percent from the floor and essentially ended the game early by taking a 21-point lead into the break.

The Hoosiers' balanced scoring attack on Friday is indicative of the team's performance throughout the season. Cody Zeller leads Indiana with 16.7 points per game, but three others -- Victor Oladipo, Christian Watford and Jordan Hulls -- average more than 10 points per contest, while Will Sheehey (9.5 PPG) isn't far behind.

Temple jumped out to a big lead before holding off NC State, 76-72. Khalif Wyatt scored 31 points, 12 of which came inside the final five minutes of the game, to pace the Owls. Temple opened up a 15-point first-half lead then extended it to 17 early in the second half. But the Wolfpack rallied to cut the deficit to just three points with 3:10 remaining. However, Temple made 14-of-18 free throw attempts down the stretch to seal the victory.

Wyatt is Temple's leading scorer on the season, averaging 20.2 points per game. Scootie Randall is the only other Owls player who averages in double-digits, scoring 11.6 points per contest. Neither player shoots the ball well from the field, but both are good free throw shooters who have a knack for getting to the line.

The winner between the Hoosiers and Owls will move on to the East Region semifinals, which will be played at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.
