Friday night saw an upset in Storrs, as Yale came up the road from New Haven and knocked of the Huskies 45-44 on a Jack Montague three with a second to go:
Let's put it side-by-side with Texas' shot, which was off a sideline out-of-bounds play:
UConn had won 68 straight against other teams from Connecticut, and the Bulldogs hadn't gotten a W over the Huskies since 1986. Coming off last year's national championship run, the Huskies are now 3-3, and their three wins were against Bryant, College of Charleston, and Dayton. Yale, on the other hand, moves to 8-2, and looks to be a serious contender to Harvard in the race for the Ivy League title.
