Central Missouri Mules win the Division II National Championship

There was confetti.

Because we like basketball, we turned on the Division II National Championship when we saw it was on CBS, and saw the Central Missouri Mules go on a 22-12 run to top the West Liberty Hilltoppers 84-77.

Here is what you need to know about this:

1. This is the fourth national title for the Mules, and first since 1984, when they won both the men's and women's championships. Phog Allen used to coach there!

2. This is the Central Missouri Mule mascot:

The women's teams are the Jennies, which is a female donkey.

3. There was WAYYYYYYY TOOOOOO MUUUUUUCH CONFETTIIIIIIIIIIIIII when the Mules won the title:

It seriously looks like a plague of confetti.

They still managed to celebrate in spite of the fact that every possible square inch of their body surface was covered by confetti.

Winning the DII Championship is exactly like winning the NBA championship:

Congrats to the Mules, 2014 Division II men's basketball national champions!
