Baylor blew a golden opportunity against Kansas

New, comments

The Bears would like to have the end of this game back, we're guessing.

Kansas was on the ropes the entire night against Baylor in its Big 12 opener on Wednesday evening. When Kansas guard Frank Mason Jr. missed a three-pointer with 24 seconds to play and the Jayhawks only up win, it seemed like the Bears were in prime position to get the go-ahead score.

This is what happened:

Baylor would get the ball back here, but Kansas freshman Kelly Oubre stole the inbounds pass. After the teams traded foul shots, Mason missed the front-end of a one-and-one with four seconds remaining. Down one, Baylor had another chance.

It ... didn't go so well:

Yep, Baylor couldn't even get a shot off. That's a tough loss. We told you conference play in the Big 12 was going to be awesome.
