There's only one game in the CIT on Wednesday night, and it will feature UT Martin traveling to Eastern Kentucky for a quarterfinal contest.
UT Martin has already won two road games during the CIT to advance to the Elite Eight of the tournament after an 11-point victory against USC Upstate got them to this game. UTM is playing for its 21st win of the season when it faces Ohio Valley Conference foe Eastern Kentucky.
Corey Walden's last-second shot against High Point on Friday secured a one-point victory and got EKU to the quarterfinals. EKU is 6-2 in the month of March, is second in the nation in steals per game (9.7) and have had 28 thefts in the past three games. EKU also finished second in the OVC behind Murray State.
UT Martin was third in the conference in scoring per game and led the OVC in three-point shooting at 39 percent as a club. Though UTM did have a poor shooting performance against USC Upstate (28 percent), they held their opposition to 18 first half points.
The game will be held at 7 p.m. Eastern time and will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network. Semifinal games are March 31. The championship game is scheduled for April 2.
