A-10 Tournament 2016 schedule and bracket: VCU, St. Joseph's advance to final

VCU and St. Joe's will play for the A-10 championship.

Amber Searls-USA TODAY Sports

The Atlantic 10 Tournament's Friday quarterfinals may well have knocked one team out of the running for an at-large spot in the NCAA Tournament. Saturday's semifinals might continue a storybook run by Stephen Curry's alma mater.

Three of the A-10's top four seeds remain: No. 1 Dayton, No. 2 VCU and No. 4 Saint Joseph's, all teams that can expect at-large bids to March Madness, have advanced with minimal drama. But No. 6 Davidson's overtime win over No. 3 St. Bonaventure on Friday likely disqualifies the Bonnies from serious Selection Committee consideration, and Jack Gibbs has the touch to be a threat to any team.

Alas, VCU, the Wildcats' semifinal foe, is 2-0 against Davidson this year, with both wins coming by 10 points.
