NCAA Women's basketball tournament 2016: Times, TV schedule and live stream for Sunday

South Carolina is one of the few women's teams that could challenge UConn this year. The Gamecocks will be back in action in the second round on Sunday.

The first round of the NCAA Women's Tournament is in the books, without much in the way of big upsets. The second begins in earnest on Sunday, with two No. 1 seeds looking to keep their title hopes going.

Connecticut started its tournament run on Saturday, and the Huskies were predictably dominant, beating Robert Morris, 101-49. Breanna Stewart and company now await No. 9 Duquesne on Monday.

But before the Huskies tip off, we've got plenty of tournament action to watch on Sunday. If you're looking for a potential challenger to UConn's crown, keep an eye on No. 1 South Carolina. Dawn Staley's team played the Huskies earlier this year, where they lost by 12 points. Believe it or not, that was one of the closest anyone has played UConn this year -- it has never won a game by less than 10 points. They could be headed for a collision course in the Final Four, which would be must-see television.

South Carolina made quick work of No. 16 Jacksonville, 77-41, and will face No. 9 Kansas State, fresh off a 56-51 win over No. 8 George Washington. There's one more No. 1 seed taking the court on Sunday, with Baylor playing No. 9 Auburn. The Bears had a similarly dominant win in the first round, taking care of No. 16 Idaho, 89-59.

One of the bigger upsets of the first round was No. 12 Albany knocking off No. 5 Florida, 61-59. The Great Danes will hope to keep their Cinderella run going when they face No. 4 Syracuse, which dismantled No. 13 Army, 73-56.

The early games are airing on ESPN2, with coverage depending on your local region. The late-afternoon and evening games air nationally on ESPN2 and ESPN. As usual, every game can be streamed online at WatchESPN.
