Printable NCAA bracket 2016: Sweet 16 field is now set

After an incredible first weekend of action, the tournament takes a moment to breathe as we get ready for the Sweet Sixteen. Here's the updated bracket.

The Sweet Sixteen field is now set after a thrilling second round of NCAA Tournament action, which means you can download our updated printable bracket here. While there were a lot of chalk results and not many Cinderella teams left, that doesn't mean the games were unexciting.

Okay, maybe the first game of Sunday was unexciting. No. 2 Villanova crushed No. 7 Iowa by 19 points, and the Hawkeyes' season ends on a whimper after they rose as high as No. 3 in the AP poll. However, that game was quickly forgotten with the instant classic between No. 6 Notre Dame and No. 14 Stephen F. Austin.

The Irish and Lumberjacks traded leads all game in an intense affair. Stephen F. Austin — which won many fans after the first-round beatdown of No. 3 West Virginia — seemingly had the game won, but a last-second tip-in shot gave Notre Dame the breathtaking win.

Later in the day, No. 2 Oklahoma nearly blew a 14-point halftime lead, but Buddy Hield took over in the second half and the Sooners did enough to knock off No. 10 VCU. No. 5 Maryland snuffed out another Cinderella with a 73-60 win over No. 14 Hawai'i, coming back from a second-half deficit as the Warriors' shooting dried up.

The evening slate saw the two craziest games of the day. No. 11 Northern Iowa seemingly had an upset win wrapped up, leading by 12 points with less than a minute left. However, the Panthers suffered an epic meltdown, allowing No. 3 Texas A&M to force overtime. The Aggies eventually pulled off a double-overtime win, breaking hearts everywhere in Cedar Falls. In other last-minute craziness, No. 7 Wisconsin hit a buzzer-beater three to stun No. 2 Xavier.

Just when you thought the madness was over for the day, No. 1 Oregon had a lot of trouble with No. 8 Saint Joseph's. The Hawks actually led for most of the second half, but the Ducks made a comeback in the final minutes to escape with the 69-64 win. And with that, all No. 1 seeds are still alive as we head to the Sweet Sixteen.
