NIT 2016: Time, TV schedule and live stream for Wednesday

Florida plays George Washington, and San Diego State plays Georgia Tech in the NIT.

Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

The NIT continues on Wednesday night, when two more teams will punch their tickets to the tournament's semifinals at Madison Square Garden in New York next week.

No. 2 Florida faces No. 4 George Washington in one quadrant's quarterfinal. The higher seeds in the NIT host every game, except Florida's arena is undergoing construction, so George Washington is hosting the Gators in D.C. despite being the lower-seeded team. The Colonials are sending off four-year contributors Patricio Garino and Kevin Larsen, who have helped turn the program into an international mix of basketball talent.

No. 2 San Diego State faces No. 4 Georgia Tech in Wednesday's other quarterfinal. The Aztecs have cruised to wins against IPFW and Washington in the first two rounds of the NIT.

The winners of these two quarterfinals will face each other in a semifinal on March 29. The other half of the bracket's semifinal is already set, with Valparaiso taking on BYU on the same night.

Here's the updated bracket. Online streaming for every game is at WatchESPN.

Wednesday's schedule (all times Eastern)

No. 2 Florida vs. No. 4 George Washington (7 p.m., ESPN2)
No. 2 San Diego State vs. No. 4 Georgia Tech (9 p.m., ESPN2)
