Once again, storming the court proves to be a contentious issue. Thanks to conference policy, Marquette University has just been slapped with a $5,000 fine for celebrating their victory over top dog Villanova.

I mean, if I were unranked and had just beaten the No. 1 team, I probably would want to celebrate a little, too. Or a lot — students even sprinted down to the floor from the nosebleed sections.

It’s not all bad, though — the university’s athletic director announced that the money will be going to the charity Camp Hometown Heroes and that the victory will go down as another “great moment” in the program’s 100-year history.
