LaVar Ball is everywhere lately. LaVar is the father of UCLA standout Lonzo Ball and also Chino Hills High School star LaMelo Ball. But’s it’s LaVar’s talking that has earned the most headlines lately. He’s said his son Lonzo is better than Stephen Curry. He guaranteed UCLA would win the NCAA Championship all the way back in November. He even thinks he would beat Michael Jordan in a game of 1-on-1, which is impressive considering that Ball only averaged 2.2 points per game in college.
Yeah, this is all some pretty crazy stuff. But the best part of it is that someone has finally confused LaVar Ball with LeVar Burton. Reading Rainbow’s LeVar Burton.
@levarburton LeVar you averaged 2.2 PPG, stop running your mouth about MJ. #shutup @MichaelJordaan

Burton responded. But if you look close, this user also sent the tweet to the wrong Michael Jordan. Either way, it’s a great mixup and even better that Burton responded.
Ha! You've got me confused with @LavarBall... #bydhttmwfi https://t.co/TdHoS8Ou1S

Some of the replies were pretty great, too.
@levarburton Easy mistake. You are both athletes. I remember that episode. pic.twitter.com/hXyCwJrhNx

@levarburton @LavarBall I bet Burton would be proud of 2.2 ppg in NBA to go along with Reading Rainbow Emmy

If future me ever types out Lonzo Burton, I blame this post.
