Arshad Jackson considering Florida State, South Carolina and Ole Miss

Recent Auburn tight end recruit decommitment Arshad Jackson will visit Florida State, Ole Miss and South Carolina.

Fresh off his decommitment from the Auburn Tigers, tight end recruit Arshad Jackson is looking around at several SEC schools and football powers. The Hampton (Ga.) Lovejoy High School recruit has plenty of options.

"I decided to decommit and open up my recruitment," Jackson said. "I really do not know all of the schools I am considering at the moment," he told ESPN.

Jackson plans to take a visit to Florida State on Jan. 11 with his close friend and FSU commit Davin Bellamy, who has long been recruiting him to Tallahassee.

Ole Miss and South Carolina are also in contention to receive visits from Jackson, who had been committed to the Auburn Tigers for months, but reversed field when Auburn's coaching staff was fired and/or not retained by the university.
