Eastern Christian Academy defensive line Kenny Bigelow is one of the big prizes for Lane Kiffin and the USC Trojans from this recruiting class. At 6'3, 295 pounds out of Elkton, Md., Bigelow figures to be the crown jewel for top recruiter Ed Orgeron and his USC defensive line recruiting class.
Bigelow is considered one of the top defensive line recruits in the country, right along with Eddie Vanderdoes, Montravius Adams and A'Shawn Robinson. Bigelow possesses great technique and is fundamentally sound, but also is very athletic and could clog up the efforts of enterprising offensive lines. The most important aspect with Bigelow is his versatility, as he can play at almost every position on the line thanks to his athletic ability.
USC has already recruited the best pro-style quarterback in the country in Max Browne along with potentially the two best safeties in Su'a Cravens and Leon McQuay III. Bigelow, Jason Hatcher and Torrodney Prevot are the current USC defensive line commits and figure to be instant contenders to contribute in the Trojan rotation sooner rather than later.
