Tashawn Bower's Signing Day has been an eventful one, but it now seems as if the four-star defensive end prospect indeed is signing with LSU, though he has yet to officially sign.
Bower was originally committed to Auburn, and had been since June. However, early signing day brought the news that he had supposedly flipped to Florida out of the blue. But even that wasn't the full story. After that news broke, Bower decided he was committed to LSU, and is reportedly sending in his letter of intent.
Tashawn Bower just reportedly committed to #LSU, but myself & other media outlets were told he faxed #UF his LOI at 7:27 am. This is a mess.

His high school tweeted out a picture of him in an LSU hat, so this looks somewhat solid for now:

It's tough to really say what happened here. The supposed catalyst in all of this is that defensive end prospect Elijah Daniel, who was supposed to sign with Ole Miss alongside Robert Nkemdiche, committed to Auburn Wednesday morning, and now many feel as if Bower changed his mind again from Florida because multiple reporters spilled the beans on his commitment before it was fully in. National Signing Day is crazy, and nothing is really certain until the fax machines start doing whatever fax machines do.
For what its worth, Florida, Auburn, and LSU were the final three schools he visited.
