Standing 6'4 and weighing in at 350 pounds, offensive lineman Damien Mama is one of the biggest prospects participating in The Opening at Nike's headquarters in Beaverton, Ore. Thanks in large part to his impressive size, Mama is a consensus four-star recruit and is ranked in the top-11 offensive guards by every major recruiting service. Since big, talented offensive lineman never go out of style, the Bellview (Calif.) St. John Bosco product has offers from major schools across the country, including USC, Alabama, Notre Dame, Florida State and Ohio State.
Speaking with Bud Elliott, Mama discussed his favorite Nike gear at the event, his time at The Opening -- he's played some tackle -- as well as his thoughts on the recruiting process. Fans shouldn't expect a decision any time soon, as Mama plans to take his time, go on official visits and wait to make a fully-informed choice.
