Alex Ofodile, the highly touted 6'3, 185-pound wide receiver from the state of Missouri, attended the Nike Football Training Camp in Columbus on Sunday along with fellow members of the class of 2015. The four-star prospect is ranked as the seventh-best recruit at his position in the country, in addition to his ranking as the No. 1 player from Missouri according to the 247Sports Composite.
Ofodile already holds offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida State, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan State, Missouri, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Oklahoma, to name a few.
While Ofodile currently doesn't have a set leader in place as far as his recruiting goes, he plans on forming a top group in the near future. For now, the only schools guaranteed to be on that list are Missouri, Oklahoma and Notre Dame. When talking to SB Nation's Bud Elliott about what he's been trying to improve on, Ofodile has focused on getting stronger for next season.
"I've been in the weight room a bunch this offseason, putting some weight on. I think that's going to help me a bunch getting through tackles," he said.
When asked about a decision date, Ofodile pointed to July as a possibility of when he might make his selection of schools and says he wants to finish up his recruiting by August so that he can focus on the upcoming season. With July already looming, Ofodile doesn't plan on visiting any schools other than the one he commits to.
