Defensive end recruit Darius Fullwood talks top schools, upcoming decision

Defensive end Darius Fullwood breaks down his recruitment at the Columbus Nike camp.

Many of the nation's top players were at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, which is located on The Ohio State University's campus in order to compete in the Columbus Nike Football Training Camp and attempt to earn an invite to Nike's "The Opening", which is set to take place next month at Nike HQ in Beaverton, Oregon.

One of the top defensive linemen in attendance was Olney (MD) Good Counsel defensive end Darius Fullwood, who is rated as a three-star recruit in the 247Sports Composite rankings. He holds scholarship offers from the likes of Ohio State, Penn State, Virginia Tech, Michigan State, Miami, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Alabama, and others. Currently he has top 5 of Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Miami, Ohio State, and Virginia Tech, but other schools are still in the picture

Before the event SB Nation Recruiting spoke with Fullwood about his recruitment (see video above). A number of topics were discussed, including:

- How did Fullwood like his most recent visit to Ohio State?

- When will he be back in Columbus?

- Which other schools does Fullwood want to visit in the next month?

- When is Fullwood announcing his college decision?

- Is there anything special about Fullwood's decision date?

- What will be some of the biggest factors in Fullwood's decision?

- What kind of relationship does Fullwood have with Ohio State's Larry Johnson?

- Which other college coaches has Fullwood grown close to?

- Is Penn State still in the picture for Fullwood?

- Will Fullwood recruit for the school he commits to?
