Four-star wide receiver Donnie Corley is set to commit on Tuesday, according to 247 Sports, with Michigan State being the favorite to land the Wyandotte (Mich.) Detroit Martin Luther King star.
Standing 6'2 and weighing in at 180 pounds, Corley is a consensus four-star prospect among the four major recruiting services. He's the No. 3 overall prospect in the state of Michigan according to the 247 Composite index, and is rated among the top 20 wide receiver recruits in the country.
Corley holds a long offer list that includes the likes of Michigan State, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Penn State, USC and more.
Even without Corley in their 2016 class, Michigan State already has a top 10 class in the 247 Composite. Most years that would probably put them only behind Ohio State in conference, but they are currently fourth in the Big Ten behind OSU, Michigan and Penn State. It's still July so plenty can change before Signing Day, but it seems the recruiting arms race in the Big Ten is on.
