The top teams of the BCS Harris Poll remained unchanged after Week 13. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgia Bulldogs, Oregon Ducks and Florida Gators took care of business in the final week of the regular season, and in that order, they appear at the top of the Harris Poll, which counts toward part of the BCS rankings.
The order is the same as the USA Today Coaches' Poll that was released earlier Sunday. That also dictates the BCS scores.
Notre Dame garnered 109 first-place votes after its 22-13 win against USC this weekend while Alabama earned the remaining six.
The biggest drop in the rankings came at No. 6. The Florida St. Seminoles lost to the Gators, 37-26, on Saturday and fell from that spot to No. 12. To finish out the top 10, Kansas St. took the sixth spot followed by the LSU Tigers, Stanford Cardinal, Texas A&M Aggies and South Carolina Gamecocks.
The race for a small-conference team to make a BCS game as an at-large team is getting tight with only conference championships left before the bowl season begins. The Boise St. Broncos, Kent St. Golden Flashes and Northern Illinois Huskies come in at No. 17, No. 18 and No. 19 respectively.
If one of those three move into the top 16 in the BCS standings, it will earn a BCS bowl invitation. Boise State faces Nevada on Dec. 1 for the MWC title, and Northern Illinois and Kent State will clash for the MAC championship.
Here's a look at the entire Harris Poll following the last regular-season games:
