The Penn St. Nittany Lions cruised to their sixth win of the season on Saturday afternoon, dominating the Purdue Boilermakers for all four quarters en route to a 34-9 blowout.

Purdue held an early 3-0 lead following its first drive of the game, although that was really the only time the team was still in the game. Penn State led 20-3 at halftime and moved out to a 34-3 lead midway through the third quarter. PSU is now 4-1 in the Big Ten, while the Boilermakers are still yet to beat a conference foe this year.

Box Score Hero: Senior quarterback Matthew McGloin had video game numbers today. He went 22 for 36 for 321 yards and two touchdowns, and it probably could have been worse if the Lions didn't let up late.

Rankings Ramifications: Neither team was ranked this week and neither will be ranked in the next round of polls.

But Did They Cover? Penn State covered the spread of 3.5 points easily.
