AP Top 25, Week 11: Oregon gains on unanimous No. 1 Alabama

LSU's loss opens up room for Ohio State, Georgia, Florida and Florida State to each move up, while Oregon gains a few votes after topping USC.

With little change at the top, the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll has a few changes further down the poll, as the Ohio State Buckeyes rise into a tie with the Georgia Bulldogs for No. 5 in this week's poll.

Both the Buckeyes and Bulldogs were the beneficiaries of the LSU Tigers' loss and improved their standing in the poll to tie for the fifth position. The Buckeyes are included in the AP Poll, which is not a part of the BCS formula, and remain one of the nation's few undefeated squads.

The Oregon Ducks gain a few points among voters after a big victory over the USC Trojans on Saturday, but remain well behind the Crimson Tide. Oregon is trailed by both the No. 3 Kansas State Wildcats and No. 4 Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

After suffering a late loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday night, the Tigers fell a few spots to No. 9 this week, making room for a few teams at the lower end of the AP's Top 10, as the Florida State Seminoles and Florida Gators also each move up one spot in the latest poll.

The Crimson Tide remain a unanimous No. 1 choice among AP voters, collecting all 60 first-place votes after the victory over LSU.
