The 2013 BCS Selection Show will air on ESPN, starting at 8:30 p.m. ET Sunday night. The final BCS standings will also be revealed. The pairings for the Orange, Sugar, Rose and Fiesta bowls will be unveiled along with the two teams playing in the National Championship Game.
We will know most of the bowl season matchups before the show starts, and we already know which schools have locked up automatic bids, leaving the show to fill in any blanks that remain. Here's the schedule as it stands:
Once everything is set, the long wait for the actual games begins. The Rose Bowl and Fiesta Bowl both will be played on Jan. 1, 2014, followed by the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 2, the Orange Bowl on Jan. 3 and the BCS Championship on Jan. 6. This is the final year of the BCS system; the FBS transitions to a long-awaited playoff format next season.
The selection show is also available online, via WatchESPN.
