Georgia added a quarterback to its already strong 2014 recruiting class, as four-star quarterback Jacob Park committed to play for the Bulldogs on Friday, according to 247 Sports.
Park, a native of South Carolina, was rated as 247's No. 8 pro-style quarterback in the 2014 class and chose Georgia over Alabama and Virginia Tech among others.
Standing at 6'3 and weighing 202 pounds, Park is Georgia's fifth commitment this week and brings the school's total to 10 for the entire class of 2014.
Georgia isn't desperate for quarterbacks, as Dawg Sports points out that the depth behind senior Aaron Murray is strong. But the Bulldogs did make an effort to recruit quarterbacks in recent weeks. Georgia had held a scholarship open for Park, and had declined to throw out offers to other quarterbacks until he made his decision.
