The college football season may be down to just a handful of games, but that doesn't mean they are lacking in importance -- the BCS National Championship Game between Auburn and Florida State still remains.
Don't expect that matchup to be affected by Mother Nature, however. The elements figure to be near ideal for the Monday night, 8:30 p.m. ET kickoff.
Here's how the weather report is breaking down this weekend in Pasadena:
Saturday and Sunday are projected to be partly cloudy, with highs in the 70s on both days, and lows in the upper 40s. Monday -- the day of the game -- will be sunny, with a high of 77.
There is no projected chance of rain on any of these days. Wind is not expected to be a factor either, as the forecast calls for nothing more than winds of a couple miles per hour.
