Final 2013 college football rankings: Florida State No. 1, followed by Auburn and Michigan State

Florida State breaks the SEC's seven-year streak at the top, but Auburn hangs on to second place.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The final rankings of the college football season have been released, and to no one's surprise Florida State is the unanimous top team in both the AP and Coaches Polls. The Seminoles finished the season as the only undefeated program in the country, defeating Auburn in a wild BCS Championship Game to finish the year at 14-0.

The Tigers finished second in both polls, with Michigan State third after Alabama's loss to Oklahoma. The Tide fell in both, allowing South Carolina, Missouri and Oklahoma to move above them in both polls (and Clemson as well in the Coaches' Poll).

UCF was a big riser following their win over Baylor, while Stanford and Ohio State fell after BCS game losses. USC made a strong entrance to the polls after not being ranked at the end of the regular season, as the Trojans are now at No. 19 in both polls. Vanderbilt and Washington also made their way into the AP Top 25, while Vanderbilt, Notre Dame and Nebraska made it into the Coaches' Poll.
