2 key fumbles cost Auburn the game against Texas A&M

Auburn's luck has run out.

At halftime, No. 3 Auburn trailed unranked Texas A&M 35-17, setting up a potential eliminating loss for the Tigers. Gus Malzahn's squad roared back, cutting the deficit to 41-38 with an opportunity to take the lead at the goal line.

Then, Nick Marshall and Cameron Artis-Payne botched the exchange on an option play, resulting in a fumble that was called a Texas A&M recovery.

The replay appears to show an Auburn player pouncing on the ball, but the ruling on the field stood after being reviewed by the officials.
