John Harbaugh denies report that family is pushing Jim Harbaugh to Michigan

Multiple outlets have reported in recent days that the Michigan Wolverines chances' to land Jim Harbaugh have improved. Last week, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that while Harbaugh likes the NFL, his family has been "encouraging" him to take the Michigan job.

However, Harbaugh's brother John, the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens, responded to that report and denied it outright.

Whoever Michigan's next coach is, it appears likely that the Wolverines will know soon. 247Sports' Steve Wiltfong reported that Jim Hackett, UM's interim athletic director, met with the team and told them that they "feel good about having their guy." According to one report, the school upped its offer to Harbaugh last week, and is prepared to make him the highest-paid coach in college football with an annual salary of $8 million.

Harbaugh's season with the San Francisco 49ers ends on Sunday, and his tenure with that team is expected to end as well. With the end of the season fast approaching, we could learn soon where Harbaugh will end up.
