Update: Early indications show very good news for the Gators:
Update from @CoachWMuschamp: "An MRI revealed that Vernon Hargreaves suffered a bone bruise and he is listed as day to day."

Florida Gators cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III was injured on Thursday evening during a camp practice in which a scuffle broke out between the All-SEC defensive back and a wide receiver that featured punches thrown, according to SB Nation's Alligator Army.
While it's still too early to know a diagnosis for Hargreaves, the initial signs didn't look good as trainers were reportedly looking at the sophomore's left knee. He reportedly couldn't put any weight down on the leg.
Hargreaves was arguably the team's best player as a true freshman, making 10 starts. He accumulated three interceptions, 11 pass break ups and 38 tackles in the Gators defense. He earned First Team All-SEC honors and Third Team All-American recognition from the Associated Press.
VH3 now standing. This is a real tweet I am sending.

If there's one player who doesn't need to practice again this fall, it's VH3. But: Maybe THE tone-setter for this team. I say sit him.

He eventually left the practice field on a cart, but was able to stand on his own prior to his departure. If Hargreaves is out for any extended period of time, the team will likely turn to Nick Washington or Duke Dawson, both freshman, to fill his shoes.
