Trevone Boykin saves TCU's season with 2 big touchdowns against Kansas State

New, comment

The Horned Frogs quarterback is looking Heisman-caliber tonight.

TCU went down 35-17 to Kansas State in the first half, but TCU has Trevone Boykin, and he went to work in the fourth quarter with a nice 69-yard touchdown run to give the Horned Frogs a 43-42 lead.

He followed that up with a two-point conversion.

Then, after Kansas State tied the game back up with a field goal, Boykin struck right back with this beautiful 55-yard strike to Josh Doctson.

The final score is 52-45, and the No. 2 Horned Frogs remain alive for the College Football Playoff, despite a recent penchant for road drama.
