This has been a trying week for USC, and no one's had to make more decisions during it than Trojans athletic director Pat Haden, who fired Trojans coach Steve Sarkisian on Monday.
Unfortunately, it's now Haden who appears to have a health challenge.
USC athletic director Pat Haden collapsed on the field during pre-game. He is currently getting looked at back in the locker-room area.— Notre Dame on NBC (@NDonNBC) October 17, 2015
NBC aired pregame footage of Haden on one knee, and struggling to get back to his feet.
The good news: Haden went back to the locker room and appears to be doing better now.
Per USC- Pat Haden took a knee on sideline, felt light headed. Went with medical staff to locker area and is sitting up, appears to be OK.— Ashley Adamson (@AdamsonAshley) October 17, 2015
Pat Haden stopped at a local hospital and checked out fine, per #USC. On a private plane headed home. #USCvsND— Matt Fortuna (@Matt_Fortuna) October 18, 2015
Haden was hospitalized twice in 2014, and his uncertain health was apparently part of why his future as USC's AD was up in the air as recently as this January.
