Week 8 only had one ranked vs. ranked game, but the college football weekend still managed to be super fun. The wild Georgia Tech vs. Florida State finish, No. 3 Utah going down to unranked USC, and more highlighted what was supposedly a weak Saturday.
Week 9 also has just one ranked vs. ranked game, and it's Notre Dame at Temple. The Owls being really good is a rarity, so smile with them as they shoot for the upset.
But there's more than that game to keep track of this weekend. A few title races will get some more clarity. The ACC Coastal kicked things off on Thursday with North Carolina and Pittsburgh, with the Tar Heels surviving. The SEC East will probably be decided when Florida plays Georgia. And Saturday night we might have the biggest Pac-12 North game of the year, as Stanford faces an in-form Washington State.

Early shift
Best option: No. 19 Ole Miss at Auburn, ESPN
Spread: Ole Miss -7.5
Auburn's in last place in the division, and now has to play an Ole Miss that looked quite good about Texas A&M.
Plan B: Illinois at Penn State, ESPN2
Penn State is 3-1 in conference, but Illinois has been pesky under interim coach Bill Cubit.
Middle shift
Best option: Georgia at No. 11 Florida, CBS
Spread: Florida -3
This game will probably decide the SEC East, and these teams hate each other. Tune in.
Plan B: No. 12 Oklahoma State at Texas Tech, ESPN
Did you know Oklahoma State is still undefeated? It's true! Texas Tech didn't look all that great against Oklahoma, but gave TCU a fight.
Late shift
Best option: No. 9 Notre Dame at No. 21 Temple, ABC
Spread: Notre Dame -10.5
Notre Dame is trying to stay at least marginally involved in the Playoff race, while Temple is looking to make another major statement for the AAC.
Plan B: No. 15 Michigan at Minnesota, ESPN
Minnesota's first game since the retirement of head coach Jerry Kill is a chance to hang onto a rivalry trophy Jim Harbaugh wants back.
BONUS ROUND: Super late shift
Best option: No. 8 Stanford at Washington State, ESPN
Spread: Stanford -12
This has become an important Pac-12 North game somehow!
Plan B: Arizona at Washington, FOX Sports 1
Both teams are in fifth place in their respective divisions. A win here would be huge for either team.
