Another week, another Big 12 officiating apology. This week, it was officials accidentally giving Oklahoma State a free first down on a drive that led to a touchdown against Kansas State. The conference acknowledged the mistake.
"Accurracy (sic) and adherence to Conference policies and officiating mechanics are vital to the proper administration of the rules in all games," said Anderson. "Disciplinary actions will be addressed with both the field officials and chain crew."
This is the second week in the row Big 12 officiating made the news for the wrong reasons.
The conference defended its officiating after a series of missed calls that contributed to Texas's loss to Oklahoma State last week. That was pretty hilarious to everyone else in the Big 12, who have thought for years that the refs tend to favor the Longhorns.
