It would be reckless to watch Week 11 college football without this TV viewing guide

New, comment

Below, the full TV/streaming schedule, with some thoughts about which games to watch in each time slot.

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Compared to Week 10, Week 11's schedule is considerably light. There are only three ranked vs. ranked games (and none within the top 10), and there are a combined three Thursday and Friday games featuring a total of one team with a winning record.

But that's okay, because college football always comes through. The Big 12's backloaded schedule guarantees fun from here on out, so this week we're treated to No. 12 Oklahoma at No. 6 Baylor, one of many tough games remaining for the Bears. After 20 straight wins for the Sooners to start off the series, Baylor beat Oklahoma for the first time in 2011 and has won the past two years in a row.

There's also No. 21 Memphis at No. 24 Houston, No. 2 Alabama at No. 17 Mississippi State, and some promising late night Pac-12 action on Saturday. We're also now at four straight weeks with at least one absolutely bonkers ending, so get ready for that.

The full schedule is below. For more coverage on a team, just click on the school's name.

Early shift

Best option: NC State at No. 16 Florida State, ESPN3

Spread: Florida State -9.5

NC State has been quietly pretty good, and this could be a dangerous game for the 'Noles after the tough loss to Clemson.

Plan B: Georgia at Auburn, CBS

Neither team is having a very good season, but they both looked pretty good last week and, more importantly, they hate each other.

Middle shift

Best option: No. 2 Alabama at No. 17 Mississippi State, CBS

Spread: Alabama -7.5

Mississippi State's been on a good run and kept LSU to within two points in Starkville earlier this season.

Plan B: Miami at No. 23 North Carolina, ESPNU

UNC just dunked [basketball term] its way into the rankings and could run the table in conference play.

Late shift

Best option: No. 12 Oklahoma at No. 6 Baylor, ABC

Spread: Baylor -2.5

Here's Baylor's first chance for a marquee victory, as the Big 12's schedule really arrives. And Oklahoma could still make its way into the field with a strong finish (after Baylor, the Sooners play TCU and Oklahoma State) and some help from the usual college football chaos.

Plan B: No. 21 Memphis at No. 24 Houston, ESPN2

Memphis isn't undefeated anymore, so some of the luster of this matchup is gone, but Houston still is! And Memphis is still good!

BONUS ROUND: Super late shift

Best option: Washington State at No. 19 UCLA, ESPN

Spread: UCLA -9.5

Washington State has won four out of five and nearly pulled off an upset of Stanford, the Pac-12's best team. UCLA looked great last week, but nearly got upset by Colorado the week before and was upset by Arizona State.

Plan B: No. 10 Utah at Arizona, FS1

The Utes are still hanging around in the top 10, and a win here would make their first 10-win season since leaving the Mountain West a near certainty.
