Just one day after a 41-22 loss to Stanford in the Pac-12 Championship Game, USC coach Clay Helton has reportedly fired three defensive coaches, including defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox.

These coaches were initially hired by former coach Steve Sarkisian, not Helton. Wilcox had a rough go during the Pac-12 championship game, in which Stanford star Christian McCaffrey dominated the Trojans. He was heard cussing up a storm in the coaches box and had to be told to quiet down by a USC staffer. This reportedly happened quite often. Wilcox had a particularly bad night against USC.
Source confirms Clay Helton asked Justin Wilcox who was supposed to cover McCaffrey on 67-yard pass and Wilcox said, ``I don't know.'' #USC
