Oklahoma athletes and coaches join protest of fraternity's racist video

The school and community are moving quickly to distance themselves from the fraternity in question.

Members of Oklahoma's athletics teams and football head coach Bob Stoops joined with a large contingent of the university community at a campus rally Monday morning, protesting the behavior in a video that shows racist chants by what's alleged to be members of the school's Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.

The national headquarters of the fraternity has already disbanded the Oklahoma chapter, and OU president David Boren said in a statement later Monday morning that the school is severing ties with the local SAE chapter. Members living there have until Tuesday at midnight to move out of the house.

Later, the Sooners held a silent demonstration during their scheduled practice time.
