Bovada has released its latest Heisman odds for the 2015 season after first putting out odds at the end of January, and TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin is the new leader, overtaking Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott.
Boykin finished fourth in the 2014 Heisman voting behind Marcus Mariota, Melvin Gordon and Amari Cooper, all of whom are now in the NFL, and he will lead a TCU team that is among the favorites to make the College Football Playoff this season. His lead over Elliott could also have something to do with what is happening in Columbus, Ohio.
With Braxton Miller likely staying at Ohio State, he could potentially be "competition" for Elliott's Heisman campaign. Of the three Buckeye quarterbacks who could play next year, Miller had the best odds to win the Heisman at 10/1, followed by 2014 College Football Playoff star Cardale Jones at 20/1 and 2014 regular season starter J.T. Barrett at 25/1.
