This Tennessee player thought he’d scored a sure TD vs. UGA. He thought very wrong!

College football players keep not scoring touchdowns that totally look like they should be easy touchdowns. Jalen Hurd is the most recent player to fall victim to the most 2016 of all college football occurrences:

Hurd assumed he was quarantined and could waltz into the end zone at a leisurely pace, but Georgia’s Deandre Baker had other ideas.

The Dawgs would go 80 yards on their ensuing drive to score and make this turnover truly hurt, but not without Sony Michel committing his own fumble on the 1-yard line, which QB Jacob Eason recovered in the end zone. Michel’s didn’t fit the bill of his lackadaisical fumbling brethren, however.
