Both Oklahoma and Kansas State come into Saturday's game after wins last week. Oklahoma beat Texas in the Red River Shootout 45-40. Kansas State, meanwhile, beat Texas Tech at home 44-38, despite giving up 592 yards to the Red Raiders' offense.
For Oklahoma, even though the Sooners got beat by Houston 33-23 in Week 1, they still have the Big 12 title in front of them. Bob Stoops' Sooner team is 2-0 in conference play, tied with Baylor for first in the standings. OU is favored over K-State this week, but the Sooners can't afford to lost to the Wildcats if it still wants a shot at the Big 12 title.
Kansas State is 1-1 in conference play, suffering a one-point loss to West Virginia on the road two weeks ago. The Sooners are 16-1 under Stoops the week after they play Texas. That one loss came just two years ago against Kansas State.

Three big things to know
1. Kansas State has won the last two in Norman: The Wildcats won at Oklahoma both in 2012 and 2014. Both of those games were decided by slim margins -- in 2014 they won just 31-30, and won by five points in 2012. In fact, the road team has won the last five games in this series -- OU beat Kansas State in Manhattan, Kan. in 2011, 2013, and 2015.
2. OU wideout Dede Westbrook has dominated recently: In the last two games, the senior wide receiver has had some impressive outings. He's been able to have the most combined yards ever (390) for a Sooner in back-to-back games, according to OU's game notes. He has amassed had five touchdowns in the last two weeks, as well.
3. Kansas State has a tough road schedule: The Wildcats opened 2016 with a game on the road vs. Stanford, and faced WVU in Morgantown. They will finish this season with road games against OU, Baylor, and TCU.
