College football TV schedule, Week 7: Game times, streaming info, and what to watch

Here's your Saturday college football schedule, sorted to help you figure out the best games on in each time slot.

Week 7 doesn't offer tons of obvious great games, but it's a college football Saturday. Something will always emerge, and we have two games between nothing but top-10 teams (Alabama at Tennessee and Ohio State at Wisconsin).

Below is Saturday's full TV and streaming schedule, arranged for you in order of watchability. This is based on a subjective combo of quality, competitiveness, stakes, and what else is on at the time.

As always, the early going is wide open, the middle features big games, and the late-night will go totally wild. Perfect!

Week 7 is off to a decent enough start, despite having no Thursday games due to weather fallout and Wednesday's game being a dud of a blowout by Appalachian State over UL Lafayette. Friday night, Louisville's win hinged on a Duke player bumping a kicker (excitement!) and BYU beat Mississippi State in double overtime, per all known rules on BYU games.

Here's your Saturday schedule guide!

Notes, as always, on the WATCH THIS games:

  • The noon ET spot is extremely noon. Let's go with the game likeliest to produce incredible amounts of points and the best chance all weekend for an undefeated team to lose. (WVU is undefeated, yes, having played only four games. By the time this game kicks off, BYU, Duke, and Fresno State will have completed seven games each. No one is in charge of our sport, and that's fine.)
  • Bama-Tennessee lost some shine after the Vols finally got caught attempting to pull off a miracle comeback and due to UT's injury issues. But it's still a rivalry game that really matters for the first time in a while, and a home upset could swing the SEC.
  • Ole Miss-Arkansas is a rematch of 2015's best game, and this time, the underdog has home advantage.
  • Ohio State-Wisconsin is also a rematch ... of a season-breaking 2014 beatdown that changed the Playoff at the last minute. What fun!
  • Pretty easy call for your closeout game: Mike freaking Leach showing a former NFL head coach how to run the football.
