Well, this is certainly one way to provide motivation for your upcoming opponent.

LSU defensive back Dwayne Thomas did not hold back when discussing the matchup between No. 1 Alabama and No. 19 LSU on Nov. 5 in Baton Rouge (8 p.m. ET, CBS). Thomas, a senior who has seen up close all four Crimson Tide victories over the Tigers since 2012, provided Alabama fans, and likely Alabama players, with some Grade A bulletin board material on Wednesday:

“I really see us dominating this offense. I really see us dominating this team,” Thomas said, via The Advocate’s Ross Dellenger. “This is the year. We’ve been letting them off the hook for the last couple of years. This is my senior year. We’re going out with a bang. It’s time for us to bring that win back. We’re going to be at home. I feel like we have the edge to take it to them, and we’re going to take it to them. I feel like we’re going to dominate this game.”

Wait, there’s more! Thomas outright said he doesn’t care if Tide players post this quote in their locker room. No, seriously, he did.

“We put stuff up too. If that helps motivate them, so be it,” Thomas said. “We know what motivates us. We want that No. 1 next to their (name).”

LSU and Alabama both don’t play this week. Can the next one get here already?

So many feels right now.
