Notre Dame and Texas are playing what's quickly turning into a shootout. The Irish struck first, Texas answered with its freshman quarterback to go ahead and this thing is still getting hotter.
Irish quarterback DeShone Kizer found receiver Equanimeous Tristan Imhotep J. St. Brown for a 30-yard touchdown that tied the score in the second quarter. Check out the acrobatics on St. Brown's part:
That's a gorgeous throw from Kizer, but credit to St. Brown for getting wide open and then making short work of Texas safety Dylan Haines, who tried (quite unsuccessfully) to stop him with a low tackle.
St. Brown's concentration is kind of incredible, and so is this photograph:
St. Brown speaks a couple of languages, and he worked both German and French into his Notre Dame commitment. You should get to know him because he's just a sophomore and already figures hugely into the Irish's passing game. He's got hands, and he's clearly got the ability to multitask.
All hail Equanimeous Tristan Imhotep J. St. Brown. He goes by Equanimeous, or just EQ.
