NC State crowd taunted Louisville with an ‘F-B-I’ chant during upset win

This is some shade, and it’s glorious.

Oh my god, this is so good. In the fourth quarter of No. 24 NC State’s home win over No. 17 Louisville, Lamar Jackson scored a four-yard touchdown to pull his team within five. Right after the score, the student section broke out an audible “F-B-I” chant, alluding to Louisville basketball’s bombshell FBI investigation story that broke last week. The chant was beautiful.

In case you aren’t aware, Louisville’s basketball program is being investigated by the FBI for participating in various forms of bribery to lure recruits. As a result, head basketball coach Rick Pitino has been placed on administrative leave, and athletic director Tom Jurich has already been fired.

Obviously the football program is unrelated to this entire scandal, but you have to give props to the Wolfpack student section for what was either quick thinking or well-thought-out planning.

College football remains the best.
