Tuesday was Halloween, and even some college football teams got in on the scary fun. One of those teams was the Clemson Tigers. Before a team meeting led by head coach Dabo Swinney, a staffer dressed up and hid to scare him. When Swinney started talking to his team and wished them a happy Halloween, the lights were turned out, and the guy in costume waiting for Swinney popped out to scare him.
Not gonna lie, this was perfectly executed, from turning the lights out right when Swinney mentioned Halloween to his team. I probably would’ve reacted a lot more violently that he did, given that I am a wimp who cannot watch a single scary movie. Shoutout to the head coach for being a good sport with it all, and having some fun.
Clemson, which recently checked in at at No. 4 in the first College Football Playoff rankings released Tuesday night, takes on the N.C. State Wolfpack this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.
