Spokesperson Bill Hancock said the goal was to play the game in 10 different cities. The Playoff succeeded in finding 10 cities!
Big Ten fans will be somewhat soothed to see one game that isn’t in the Southern part of the country, though this list is still heavy on traditional bowl states. If Chicago had a nice football field, it’d be an awesome site.
Which city will be the first to land two title games in the Playoff era? Miami, JerryWorld, Los Angeles, New Orleans, and Atlanta have to be on that list, but you should also consider Tampa. The event went nicely in 2017, and the city’s made it a stated goal to be the first to do it twice.
